Ingredients

1 lb chicken tenders

8 slices of bacon

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick)

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix well until the sugar is dissolved.

Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken tenders in a large resealable bag or a glass bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring that each tender is coated thoroughly. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

Wrap with Bacon: Once marinated, take each chicken tender and wrap it with a slice of bacon. Secure the ends with toothpicks if necessary. Repeat until all tenders are wrapped.

Heat Olive Oil: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. When hot, add the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders in batches (do not overcrowd the pan).

Sear the Chicken: Cook the tenders for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the bacon is crispy and browned. Transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the bacon is crispy.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the chicken tenders from the oven, and let them rest for 5 minutes. Remove any toothpicks, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
