3 cups whole milk

1 ripe banana, sliced

Instructions

Prepare the Crust: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.

Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy. Add in the sour cream, mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until fully combined.

Add Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until incorporated. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust. Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly. Turn off the oven and leave the door slightly ajar to let the cheesecake cool gradually for about 1 hour.

Prepare Banana Pudding: In a separate bowl, whisk together the banana pudding mix and milk until thickened. Let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Layer the Pudding: Once the cheesecake is cooled, spread the banana pudding evenly over the cheesecake layer. Top with sliced bananas for added flavor.

Chill: Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Serve: Before serving, top with whipped cream, additional banana slices, and crushed vanilla wafers for extra crunch and sweetness.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 6 hours (includes chilling) | Servings: 12 slices
