2 cups cooked shredded chicken

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

8 slices of cheddar cheese

12 slider buns (Hawaiian or regular)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: pickles for topping

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

    Mix the Chicken and Sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken and BBQ sauce. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated with the sauce. Set aside.

      Prepare the Buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally to create top and bottom halves. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.

        Layer the Ingredients:

          - Evenly distribute the BBQ chicken mixture over the bottom halves of the slider buns.

            - Place the slices of cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.

              Season and Assemble:

                - Sprinkle the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper over the cheese.

                  - Place the top halves of the slider buns on the cheese, pressing down gently to compress them.

                    Brush with Olive Oil: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with a few extra dashes of garlic powder (if desired). Brush the oil mixture over the top of the slider buns for added flavor and a golden finish.
