Ingredients

Roll Dough:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup whole milk, warmed

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

Filling:

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup fresh blueberries (or frozen, thawed and drained)

Cream Cheese Glaze:

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Make the Dough:

    - In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

      - In a separate bowl, whisk together warmed milk, melted butter, and eggs.

        - Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.

          - Mix in the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough starts forming.

            - Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

              First Rise:

                - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

                  Prepare the Filling:

                    - In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

                      Assemble the Rolls:

                        - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

                          - Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

                            - Spread the softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly across the surface. Sprinkle fresh blueberries on top.

                              - Starting from the long edge, tightly roll the dough into a log. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

                                Second Rise:

                                  - Cover the cinnamon rolls with a cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes while the oven preheats.

                                    Bake the Rolls:

                                      - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

                                        Prepare the Glaze:

                                          - While the rolls are baking, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

                                            Glaze and Serve:

                                              - Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes before drizzling the cream cheese glaze on top. Serve warm and enjoy!
