Ingredients

12 oz penne pasta

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

1 cup buffalo sauce (mild or hot, depending on preference)

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

Chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and cooked through.

Add Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

Mix in Sauces: Pour in the buffalo sauce, stirring to coat the chicken evenly. Let it simmer for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Create the Cream Sauce: Reduce the heat to low, and stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to slowly heat through, but do not let it boil.

Combine Pasta and Cheese: Add the cooked penne pasta and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese has melted and everything is well combined. If desired, mix in the blue cheese crumbles for extra flavor.

Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy your creamy, spicy Buffalo Chicken Pasta!
