Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced onions

1/2 cup diced pickles

2 tablespoons ketchup

2 tablespoons mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

12 egg roll wrappers

Vegetable oil for frying

Optional: Additional cheese slices for topping before serving

Instructions

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the diced onions to the beef, cooking until they are translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

Remove the skillet from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly before stirring in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced pickles, ketchup, and mustard.

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner facing you. Spoon a generous amount of the cheeseburger mixture onto the center of the wrapper.

Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water. Fold the bottom corner up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly until sealed.

Repeat the process until all the filling is used.

In a deep pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat for frying (about 350°F).

Carefully place 3-4 egg rolls in the hot oil, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the egg rolls and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Optional: While they are hot, place a slice of cheese on top of each egg roll to let it melt slightly.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces such as ranch or sriracha mayo.
