Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent rolls

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup sour cream

2 large eggs

1 tsp lemon juice

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

1/2 cup fresh berries (optional, for topping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

Prepare the Crescent Rolls: Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them flat in the prepared baking dish, pressing seams together to form a cohesive layer. You can use one can for the bottom and cut strips for the top.

Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, eggs, and lemon juice. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to blend until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Casserole: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly. If you have leftover crescent rolls, you can cut them into small strips to arrange on top of the filling for a decorative touch.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the filling is gently set.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10-15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm or at room temperature. If desired, top with fresh berries for added flavor and presentation.

Enjoy: Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy your cheesecake crescent rolls casserole!
