Ingredients

8 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)

1 lb ground beef

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Then add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Add Garlic and Spices: Stir in the minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing it to reduce slightly.

Combine with Cheese: Lower the heat and add the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese into the skillet. Stir until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is creamy.

Add Pasta: Mix in the cooked bowtie pasta, ensuring that every piece is well coated in the cheesy beef sauce. Let it cook together for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Finish with Garlic Butter: In a separate small saucepan, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter and drizzle it over the pasta. Toss gently to combine.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve hot.
