Ingredients

1 loaf of crusty French bread, cut into cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)

1 cup salami, sliced and quartered

1 cup pepperoni, sliced

1 cup prosciutto, torn into pieces

1 cup assorted cheeses (cheddar, gouda, brie), shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

3 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon honey

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch casserole dish.

Prepare Bread: In a large bowl, toss the cubed French bread with olive oil, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs until evenly coated. Spread the bread cubes in a single layer in the prepared casserole dish.

Layer the Meats: On top of the bread, layer the salami, pepperoni, and prosciutto evenly across the surface.

Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded assorted cheeses over the meats. Make sure to cover the entire layer for that gooey cheesy goodness.

Mix Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined and smooth.

Combine: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered bread, meats, and cheeses, gently pressing down with a spatula to ensure everything is moistened.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, savory goodness!
