Ingredients

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 pre-made pizza dough balls (store-bought or homemade)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, take one pizza dough ball and roll it out into a circle about 10 inches in diameter. Repeat with the second dough ball.

Assemble the Calzones: Divide the chicken Alfredo filling evenly between the two rolled-out dough circles. Leave about an inch of border around the edges. Carefully fold one side of the dough over to the other, creating a half-moon shape.

Seal the Edges: Press the edges together with your fingers to seal. You can also crimp the edges with a fork for a decorative finish. Make a few small slits on the top of each calzone to allow steam to escape during cooking.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Brush with Oil: Lightly brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil for added flavor and a golden-brown finish.

Air Fry the Calzones: Place the calzones in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.

Serve: Once cooked, remove the calzones from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping if desired.
