Ingredients

1 lb rotisserie chicken, shredded

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Olive oil spray

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the chicken filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well coated.

Roll out the dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle. Cut the dough into 4 equal squares (or larger, depending on the size of calzones you desire).

Fill the calzones: Spoon a generous amount of the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one half of each dough square, leaving a border around the edges to seal. Be careful not to overfill, as this can make sealing difficult.

Seal the calzones: Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges together firmly. Use a fork to crimp the edges, ensuring they are sealed well to avoid any leakage during cooking.

Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare for cooking: Lightly spray the outside of each calzone with olive oil spray for a nice golden finish during cooking.

Air fry the calzones: Place the calzones in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Serve: Carefully remove the calzones from the air fryer and let them cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve with extra Alfredo sauce for dipping if desired.
