Ingredients

1 package (14 oz) chocolate graham crackers

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

3 cups milk

1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

2 tablespoons butter

Chocolate shavings (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Whipped Cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip 2 cups of heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

Combine Pudding: In another bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and 3 cups of milk until it thickens, about 2 minutes. Set aside.

Layering: On the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish, create a layer of chocolate graham crackers, breaking them as needed to fit the dish.

First Cream Layer: Spread half of the whipped cream over the graham crackers. Follow this by spreading half of the chocolate pudding mixture over the whipped cream.

Repeat Layers: Continue with another layer of graham crackers, the remaining whipped cream, and then the remaining chocolate pudding mixture. Finish with a final layer of graham crackers on top.

Chill: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible, to allow the flavors to meld and the crackers to soften.

Make the Chocolate Ganache: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of butter. Bring to a slight simmer, then remove from heat. Add the semisweet chocolate chips and stir until smooth and glossy.

Assemble for Serving: Once the cake has set, pour the chocolate ganache over the top and spread it evenly. Garnish with chocolate shavings if desired.

Serve: Cut into squares and serve chilled, enjoying the delightful layers of chocolatey goodness.
