1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark, as preferred)

1 ½ cups mini marshmallows

Optional: Flaky sea salt for topping

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

      Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

        Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until you have a dough.

          Fold in Chocolate Chips and Marshmallows: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, letting them distribute evenly throughout the dough.

            Scoop the Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

              Swirl the Marshmallows: For added flair, lightly press a few extra marshmallows onto the top of each cookie dough ball and swirl them gently to create a marbled effect.
