Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup milk

3 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Make the Cake Batter: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy. Add in the milk and vanilla extract, mixing well. Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until just combined.

Prepare Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.

Layer the Cake: Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon layer, gently spreading it to cover. Finally, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top. Use a knife to gently swirl through the batter, making a marble effect.

Bake: Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Prepare the Glaze: While the cake is baking, mix the powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and creamy.

Glaze the Cake: Once the cake is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cake before slicing.

Serve: Cut into squares and enjoy your delicious Cinnamon Roll Cake!
