Ingredients

1 package of ready-made pie crusts (two rolled crusts)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 cup powdered sugar

1-2 tablespoons milk (adjust for consistency)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: Sprinkles for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined, creating a thick paste.

Roll out the Pie Crusts: On a lightly floured surface, unroll the pie crusts and cut them into rectangles, about 2.5 inches by 4 inches. You should get about 12 rectangles (6 from each pie crust).

Assemble the Poptarts: Place 6 rectangles on the baking sheet. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cinnamon filling onto the center of each rectangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with the remaining 6 rectangles, pressing the edges to seal. You can use a fork to crimp the edges for extra security and decoration.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the poptarts are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. If it’s too thick, add more milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

Frost: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled poptarts and sprinkle with optional sprinkles for added color and fun.

Serve and Enjoy: Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes, then serve your delicious Cinnamon Roll Poptarts!
