Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef (85% lean)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup baby spinach, roughly chopped

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Add Ground Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Create the Sauce: Pour the beef broth into the skillet, scraping the bottom to deglaze. Allow it to simmer for about 4-5 minutes.

Add Cream and Season: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Combine Pasta and Spinach: Add the cooked bowtie pasta and baby spinach into the skillet. Toss until the pasta is well coated with the creamy sauce and the spinach is wilted.

Finish with Cheese: Gradually add in the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and combined.

Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your creamy beef and bowtie pasta!
