Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Sauté Vegetables: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the sliced mushrooms and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, until they are tender.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream. Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine, and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Combine Pasta and Cheese: Reduce the heat to low, add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and mix well to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce. Gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well incorporated.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for an added touch of flavor and color.
