Ingredients

12 oz bowtie pasta

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 cups fresh spinach

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add Ground Beef: Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Make the Sauce: Add the beef broth, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir to combine and let simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Mix in Cheese and Veggies: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Then, add the cherry tomatoes and fresh spinach, cooking until the spinach has wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Combine with Pasta: Toss the cooked bowtie pasta into the skillet, mixing until all the pasta is evenly coated in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Divide into bowls and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Enjoy your creamy beef and bowtie pasta warm!
