Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

1/2 cup ranch dressing mix

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1/4 cup roasted red peppers, finely chopped

1 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped (for coating)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, garlic powder, onion powder, green onions, and roasted red peppers.

Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend all the ingredients until they are well incorporated and creamy.

Once mixed, form the mixture into a sphere or ball shape using your hands.

Roll the cheese ball in the finely chopped pecans or walnuts, ensuring it’s fully coated for a delightful crunch.

Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and for the ball to set.

Before serving, unwrap the cheese ball and place it on a serving platter. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.

Serve with an assortment of crackers, fresh vegetables, or pretzel bites for dipping.
