Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries) for topping

Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional, for crunch)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Crescent Base: Unroll one can of crescent dough and lay it flat in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Press the seams together to form a solid base.

Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Continue mixing until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is creamy.

Spread the Filling: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crescent roll base gently, spreading it evenly across the dough.

Add Second Layer of Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent dough and carefully lay it over the cheesecake filling. Pinch the seams together to seal.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top layer is golden brown and the filling is set.

Cool Down: Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the cheesecake to cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes. Then transfer it to the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours.

Serve: Before serving, top with fresh berries and a dusting of powdered sugar. If you like a bit of crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts over the top.

Enjoy: Slice into squares and enjoy your delicious Crescent Rolls Cheesecake Delight!
