Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

4 large flour tortillas

2 cups romaine lettuce, shredded

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)

Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for maximum flavor).

Prepare the Breading: In another bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Bread the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and let the excess drip off. Dredge each piece of chicken in the seasoned flour, ensuring they are fully coated. Press firmly to adhere the flour mixture.

Fry the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat (about ½ inch deep) until hot. Carefully add the chicken breasts to the skillet, frying each side for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken and drain on a paper towel.

Toss in Buffalo Sauce: Once the chicken is cooked and slightly cooled, cut it into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, toss the crispy chicken pieces in buffalo sauce until well coated.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and spread ranch dressing in the center. Layer with shredded lettuce, buffalo chicken, and shredded cheddar cheese.

Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling.

Serve and Garnish: Slice each wrap in half and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve immediately for that crispy goodness!
