Ingredients

For the crust:

24 Oreo cookies, crushed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

For the cheesecake filling:

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

For the topping:

6 Oreo cookies, crushed

Chocolate sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until everything is well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.

Make the cheesecake filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes). Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, beating until well incorporated and no lumps remain.

Whip the cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream on high speed until stiff peaks form (you can also use a hand mixer for this). Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.

Add chopped Oreos: Fold in the roughly chopped Oreo cookies into the cheesecake filling, ensuring an even distribution.

Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared Oreo crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Add the crushed Oreo cookies on top for garnish.

Chill the cheesecake: Cover the springform pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best results.

Serve: Once set, remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving for an extra touch of sweetness.
