1 can (8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup cooked pepperoni, chopped (or any favorite toppings like bell peppers, mushrooms, or onions)

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Olive oil (for greasing)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Lightly grease a cupcake pan with olive oil to prevent sticking.

      Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough on a floured surface until it is approximately 1/4 inch thick.

        Using a round cookie cutter or a glass, cut out circles from the pizza dough (about 3 to 4 inches in diameter).

          Gently press each dough circle into the greased cupcake pan, forming a cup shape. Let the edges overhang slightly.

            Place about 1 tablespoon of marinara sauce in the bottom of each dough cup.

              Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add the chopped pepperoni (or desired toppings).

                Add another sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top, and finally, sprinkle a pinch of oregano and garlic powder for flavor.

                  Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching them together to create a rustic top, if desired.

                    Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

                      Allow the pizza cupcakes to cool slightly before carefully removing them from the cupcake pan.

                        Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
