2 cups uncooked penne pasta

4 cups marinara sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen meatballs, uncooked penne pasta, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well-coated with the sauce.

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove the foil and stir the casserole gently to ensure even cooking. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Return the casserole to the oven (uncovered) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once done, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy the comforting flavors of your meatball casserole!
