Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

2 cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

A pinch of salt

1 banana, sliced

1/2 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

2 tablespoons chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.

Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5-10 minutes, or until the oats are cooked to your desired consistency. Stir occasionally.

While the oats are cooking, prepare your toppings. Slice the banana, wash the berries, and chop the nuts.

Once the oatmeal is ready, remove it from the heat. Spoon the oatmeal into bowls and top each bowl with the sliced bananas, mixed berries, chopped nuts, and a sprinkle of chia seeds, if using.

Drizzle a little extra honey or maple syrup on top if desired for added sweetness.

Serve warm and enjoy your delicious and nutritious breakfast!
