Ingredients

4 medium-sized russet potatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked bacon, chopped

1 medium onion, diced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup sour cream (for topping)

Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare Potatoes: Wash and scrub the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin fries (about 1/4 inch thick).

Season Fries: In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Bake Fries: Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Cook Onions: While the fries are baking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onions and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, until they become soft and translucent. Set aside.

Add Toppings: Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the chopped bacon and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot fries. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve: Remove the loaded fries from the oven. Top with sautéed onions, a dollop of sour cream, and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious creation!
