Ingredients

1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1 cup pecan halves

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter.

In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Stir until well blended. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Sprinkle the pecan halves evenly over the sugar mixture in the baking dish.

On a lightly floured surface, unroll the pizza dough into a rectangle. Pinch seams together to remove perforations.

In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the dough.

Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the edges to seal.

Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls and place them cut-side up in the baking dish over the pecan mixture.

Cover the baking dish with a clean kitchen towel and let the buns rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

Carefully invert the baking dish onto a serving platter so the sticky pecan mixture runs over the buns. Serve warm.
