Ingredients

4 medium-sized potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

½ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into finger-sized sticks, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.

Season the Potatoes: In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the potato sticks to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned potato fingers out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not touching for even cooking.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the potato fingers halfway through to ensure they cook evenly. Bake until they are golden brown and crispy.

Add Parmesan (Optional): If you’re using parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the potato fingers during the last 5 minutes of baking for a cheesy crust.

Serve: Remove the potato fingers from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.

Enjoy: Serve your crispy potato fingers with your favorite dipping sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, or aioli!
