Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups broccoli florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon honey

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

Prep the Ingredients: Start by rinsing the shrimp and patting them dry with paper towels. Trim the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Set both aside.

Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil. This will be your flavorful sauce for the dish.

Sauté the Broccoli: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they turn bright green and begin to soften. Remove the broccoli from the pan and set it aside.

Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Combine Everything: Return the sautéed broccoli to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, tossing everything to coat. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Remove from heat. Serve the shrimp and broccoli hot over a bed of cooked rice or noodles. Sprinkle with sesame seeds for garnish.
