Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and spread it evenly at the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams to seal.

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough layer in the baking dish.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer. Again, seal the seams gently.

Brush the melted butter evenly over the top layer of crescent dough.

In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Sprinkle this mixture over the melted butter layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Once baked, allow it to cool for a few minutes before dusting the top with powdered sugar.

Cut into squares and serve warm or chilled.
