Ingredients

1 box (18 oz) brownie mix

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional, walnuts or pecans work great)

A pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix and flour, stirring until evenly mixed.

Add the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Mix until a thick dough forms.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using) until evenly distributed in the dough.

Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked.

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
