Ingredients

1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped pecans (or walnuts)

1 cup caramel sauce

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Mix well until all crumbs are moistened. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.

Make the filling: In another bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the graham cracker crust.

Add the toppings: Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans (or walnuts) evenly over the filling. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top, ensuring it covers most of the filling.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges begin to turn golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Cool and cut: Remove from the oven and let the bars cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes. Once cooled, cut the bars into squares and serve.

Enjoy: For an extra touch, you can drizzle additional caramel sauce and melted chocolate over the top before serving!
