1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed if frozen)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1 garlic clove, minced

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Flour (for dusting)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, minced garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined and set aside.

      Roll Out Puff Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth out any creases. Cut the pastry into equal strips, about 2 inches wide and 6 inches long.

        Assemble Twists: Take a strip of puff pastry and spread a thin layer of the spinach and cheese filling down the center. Fold the pastry over to encase the filling and press down gently to seal.

          Twist the Strips: Hold each end of the filled pastry strip and twist it several times in opposite directions. Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet.
