Frozen Yogurt Apple Cinnamon Sticks

2 large apples (preferably Fuji or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and sliced into thin sticks

1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla yogurt for sweetness)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 cup crushed graham crackers or granola, for coating

1 tablespoon coconut oil or butter, melted (for brushing)

Optional: 1 tablespoon of brown sugar for extra sweetness

Instructions
 

Prepare the Apple Sticks:

    Start by peeling, coring, and slicing the apples into thin, stick-like shapes, about 1/4 inch thick. Place them in a bowl and set aside.

      Mix the Yogurt Coating:

        In a separate bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well mixed and smooth.

          Coat the Apple Sticks:

            Take each apple stick and dip it into the yogurt mixture, ensuring it's fully coated. Let any excess yogurt drip off.

              Roll in the Coating:

                In a shallow dish, spread out the crushed graham crackers or granola. Roll each yogurt-coated apple stick in the crushed mixture to create an even coating. Repeat for all the apple sticks.

                  Prepare for Freezing:

                    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the coated apple sticks on the sheet, ensuring they don’t touch each other.

                      Freeze:

                        Drizzle the melted coconut oil or butter over the Apple Cinnamon Sticks for a golden finish. If desired, sprinkle with a bit of brown sugar for additional sweetness. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely frozen.

                          Serve:

                            Once frozen, remove the sticks from the freezer. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes for easier eating. Serve as a delicious, healthy snack or dessert!
