Ingredients

For the Lobster:

2 lobster tails, cooked and chopped into bite-sized pieces

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mac & Cheese:

8 ounces elbow macaroni (or your favorite pasta shape)

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Lobster:

    - In a skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.

      - Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).

        - Stir in the chopped lobster meat, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, just until heated through. Set aside.

          Cook the Pasta:

            - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

              Make the Cheese Sauce:

                - In the same pot over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Whisk in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until lightly golden.

                  - Slowly whisk in the whole milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly until thickened (about 4-5 minutes).

                    - Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until melted and smooth.

                      - Mix in the Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper.

                        Combine and Bake:

                          - Gently fold the cooked pasta and lobster mixture into the cheese sauce. Ensure everything is well-coated.

                            - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish.

                              - In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of melted butter, then sprinkle evenly over the mac and cheese.

                                Bake:

                                  - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

                                    Garnish and Serve:

                                      - Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
