Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings, fresh or frozen

1/2 cup unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for coating)

Cooking spray (for baking)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly spray with cooking spray.

Prepare the Wings: If using frozen wings, thaw them completely. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Coat evenly.

Flour the Wings: Sprinkle the all-purpose flour over the wings and toss to coat. The flour helps to create a crispy texture when baked.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Sauce: While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic. Turn off the heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley until well combined.

Toss the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them into a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings and toss gently, ensuring all wings are coated well.

Serve: Serve the Garlic Parmesan Wings hot, garnished with more parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
