Ingredients

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to make it easy to lift the bars out later.

Prepare the Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt. Mix until well combined and crumbly. Press this mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish to form the crust.

Bake the Crust: Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Add Chocolate and Marshmallows: Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the pre-baked crust. Then, layer the mini marshmallows over the chocolate chips.

Drizzle with Fudge Sauce: Pour the chocolate fudge sauce over the marshmallows, allowing it to drizzle down in between. Use a spatula to gently spread the fudge, if necessary.

Bake Again: Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the marshmallows are puffed and golden brown.

Cool and Slice: Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 20-30 minutes at room temperature. For best results, transfer them to the fridge for another 30 minutes to set. Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out and slice them into squares.

Serve and Enjoy: Enjoy warm or at room temperature for a deliciously gooey treat! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
