Hamburger Supreme Casserole Recipe

Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)

1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)

2 cups cooked elbow macaroni

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup crushed tortilla chips (for topping)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.

      Add Tomatoes and Veggies: Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (including the juice), and frozen mixed vegetables. Season with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes.

        Combine with Macaroni: In a large bowl, combine the cooked elbow macaroni with the beef and vegetable mixture. Mix in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until well integrated.

          Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread evenly.

            Add Topping: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese on top, followed by the crushed tortilla chips.

              Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

                Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
