Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cubed

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter (for garlic butter)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Add the cold cubed butter and mix with a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add Milk: Gradually add the milk to the flour mixture, stirring until a dough forms. It should be slightly sticky but manageable.

Incorporate Cheese: Gently fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Form Balls: Pinch off a portion of the dough (about 1.5 tablespoons) and roll it into a ball. Repeat this process until all the dough is used.

Make Garlic Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, but be careful not to brown it.

Coat the Bombs: Carefully dip each cheese ball into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring they are well coated, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Garnish: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a burst of color and flavor. Serve warm for the best taste!
