Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup hot fudge sauce

1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Set aside.

Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Stir in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Add Chocolate and Fudge: Fold in the chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce gently, ensuring an even distribution throughout the batter. If using walnuts, fold them in now.

Pour into Loaf Pan: Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

Cool: Remove from the oven and allow the brownie bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then, gently remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Slice the brownie bread and serve warm. Optionally, drizzle some additional hot fudge on top or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert!
