Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1/2 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds, for garnish

Chopped green onions, for garnish

Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes (about 1 inch).

In a bowl, combine hot honey, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

Add the salmon cubes to the bowl and gently toss them in the marinade until evenly coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes for maximum flavor.

Arrange the marinated salmon pieces on the lined baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. For a slightly crispy texture, broil on high for the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Once done, remove from the oven and drizzle with any remaining hot honey from the marinade.

Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for an extra zing.
