12 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Fettuccine: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.

    Sauté Garlic: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

      Create the Cream Sauce: Reduce heat to low and slowly pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add some reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
