1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 tablespoon brown sugar (for topping)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)

1 tablespoon icing sugar (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions
 

In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Mix well until fully combined.

    Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients in the mug. Stir until you have a smooth batter, ensuring there are no flour lumps.

      In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together for the topping. Set aside.

        Swirl half of the cinnamon-brown sugar mixture into the mug cake batter using a knife or toothpick to create a marble effect.

          Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-brown sugar mixture on top of the batter.

            Microwave the mug cake on high for 1 minute. Check for doneness; if it's still slightly wet in the center, microwave in 10-second increments until fully cooked (typically 1 to 1.5 minutes total).

              Allow the mug cake to cool for a minute before drizzling with icing sugar if desired.
