Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Zest of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 orange

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the lemon zest, orange zest, lemon juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4-6 hours for maximum flavor.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent the chicken from sticking.

Grill the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and let the excess marinade drip off. Place the chicken breasts on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on one side without moving them.

Flip and Finish Cooking: Carefully flip the chicken breasts using tongs. Grill for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F). If you want, you can baste the chicken with some leftover marinade during the last few minutes of cooking for extra flavor.

Rest and Serve: Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, keeping the chicken moist. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides, like grilled vegetables or a fresh salad.
