4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Marinate the Salmon: In a medium bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.

    Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

      Prepare the Salmon for Baking: Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Reserve the marinade for later use. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on the lined baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over each fillet and season with salt and pepper.

        Bake the Salmon: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

          Glaze the Salmon: While the salmon is baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until slightly thickened and syrupy.
