Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

1 lb baby potatoes, halved

1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix

1 cup heavy cream

¼ cup chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Season the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and half of the ranch seasoning mix.

Sear the Pork Chops: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.

Prepare the Potatoes: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once it's melted, add the halved baby potatoes. Season with the remaining ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté the potatoes for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.

Garlic & Cream Mixture: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine.

Combine It's Time!: Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, nestling them among the potatoes. Spoon some of the creamy sauce over the chops.

Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 145°F or 63°C) and the potatoes are tender.

Garnish & Serve: Remove the skillet from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve directly from the pan for a rustic presentation. Enjoy your creamy, savory dish!
