Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend for flavor)

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup milk (whole or 2%)

12 oz short pasta (like elbow macaroni or shells)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup chopped pickles (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Brown the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, over medium heat, brown the ground beef along with the diced onion. Cook until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if necessary.

Sauté Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Add Liquids: Pour in the beef broth and milk. Bring it to a gentle simmer.

Incorporate Pasta: Add the short pasta, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

Cook the Pasta: Cover and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes or until pasta is al dente and has absorbed most of the liquid.

Cheese It Up: Remove the pot from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. If the pasta looks too dry, you can add a little more milk or broth to reach your desired consistency.

Serve: Dish out the cheesy pasta into bowls and top with chopped pickles, if using. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.

Enjoy: Gather your family around the table and enjoy this hearty, comforting One-Pot Cheeseburger Pasta!
