Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough

1 cup crushed Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies)

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional, for extra decadence)

2 tablespoons milk, as needed for icing consistency

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish (9x13 inches works great) with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, crushed Oreo cookies, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.

Roll Out the Dough: Open the can of cinnamon roll dough and unroll each piece into a long strip. Press gently to flatten each roll.

Spread the Filling: Evenly spread the Oreo mixture over each flattened cinnamon roll, making sure to leave a small border around the edges.

Roll Them Up: Starting from one end, carefully roll each strip back up into its original shape. Pinch the edges to seal. Repeat for all strips.

Slice and Place: Cut each rolled cinnamon dough into about 1-inch thick rolls. Place them in the prepared baking dish, leaving a bit of space between each roll.

Bake to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for about 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Make the Cream Cheese Icing: While the rolls are baking, in a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired icing consistency.

Add Optional Chocolate Chips: After taking the rolls out of the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired, and let them melt into the warm rolls for an extra indulgent touch.

Drizzle the Icing: Once the rolls have cooled slightly, drizzle the cream cheese icing over the top of the rolls. Feel free to be generous!

Serve and Celebrate: Cut yourself a warm, gooey cinnamon roll and enjoy the delicious combination of Oreo and cinnamon! Perfect for Phil's birthday treat!
