Ingredients

1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

2 cups vanilla pudding mix (prepared with 4 cups milk)

8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1 cup gummy worms, for decoration

Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding: In a mixing bowl, prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions using 4 cups of milk. Let it set in the refrigerator while you prepare the cream cheese mixture.

Make the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Gradually add in the powdered sugar and mix until well incorporated.

Combine: Once the pudding has set, gently fold in the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Then, add the prepared vanilla pudding and mix everything until smooth and uniform.

Layer the Dirt Cake: In a glass or a trifle dish, start by layering half of the crushed Oreo cookies at the bottom. Next, add half of the pudding and cream cheese mixture over the cookies.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of crushed Oreos followed by the remaining pudding and cream cheese mixture.

Final Touches: Top the cake with the remaining crushed Oreos to give it a dirt look. Garnish with gummy worms on top, arranging them playfully, and add mint leaves if desired for a pop of color.

Chill: Cover and refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight to allow all the flavors to meld together.

Serve and Enjoy: Scoop out portions of the dirt cake into bowls, making sure each serving has layers of crushed Oreos, pudding mixture, and decorative gummy worms. Enjoy your delightful treat!
