2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

3/4 cup whole milk

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup canned or fresh peaches, diced

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tablespoons milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.

    Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick (approximately 10x14 inches).

      Make the Filling: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread the filling mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.

        Add Peaches: Spread the diced peaches evenly over the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Sprinkle cornstarch over the peaches to help absorb moisture.
